Rock Hill, SC – John Robert Varney, 65, of Rock Hill South Carolina was laid to rest on July 28th, 2015.
Born in Bentree, WV, to Edith and Robert Varney on November 29, 1949. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his dear sisters, Mary Vaughn and Nancy Varney.
John was a proud marine who loved coffee and his family, and will be missed greatly by those lucky enough to have known him.
He is survived by his wife Mary, children Amanda and Wesley, and his sisters Ann Davis, Sue Varney, and brother Bill Varney.
A celebration of life service was held 1:00 P.M. Sunday, August 9th, 2015 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home in Clay.
He was buried alongside family in the Blue Knob Church Cemetery.
