Clay, WV – Arlon Elswick, 78, of Clay, entered into rest Sunday, July 19, 2015.
Born August 10, 1936, in Clay, he was the son, of the late Ova and Georgia (Adkins) Elswick. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Rose Elswick and four sisters and five brothers.
Arlon was retired Coal Miner and was a Army Veteran.
He is survived by his son, Michael Elswick; step-son, Floyd Graham; step-daughters, Dolly Graham, Estel Lynn Hockman; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brothers, Arthur Virgil and Dallas and sister, Inez Ard.
Funeral service was held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Minister Ralph Lane officiating. Burial was in Stephenson Cemetery, Pisgah Ridge, Clay.
