The CCHS track team took their skills to the regional competition held in Charleston at UC / Laidley field. Here is where the competition will be running, jumping, and throwing to see who will get to advance to the state competition. This year CCHS will send five runners and one thrower to represent CCHS at the meet. One of the biggest highlights of the meet was Ashley McCracken, the 300 meter Regional high hurdle champion. She will be going head to head against some tough competition at the state level. The 4×800 girls relay team placed third to qualify for the states. Leah Cottrell took second place in the shot put to qualify and Trevor Armes took third place in the 400 meter dash to qualify. Congratulations to these individuals who will represent CCHS at the State Track meet which will be held on May 22nd at UC / Laidley Field.
