Clay, WV -Marissa Diamond Tackett, 15, of Clay, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 10, 2015 after a long battle with cancer.
Born August 4, 1999 in Charleston, she was preceded in death by her mother Teresa Tackett.
She was a student at Clay County High School.
Marissa is survived by many family members and friends who are left to cherish her memories, including her parents, David and Debbie Tackett, four sisters, Tiffany Tackett, Skyler Tackett, Mariah Tackett and Brooklyn Grose and three nieces, Phoebe Tackett, Nevaeh and Olivia Duffield.
Graveside service was held at 4:00 P.M. Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Hanshaw Cemetery, Procious, with Minister Mike Holcomb officiating. A tribute of life was held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, at the Hanshaw Cemetery.
