Lizemore Elementary will be hosting a Pre-K / Kindergarten Registration on March 6, 2015. If your child will be entering Clay County Schools for the first time, please attend this event. This registration will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Who can attend our Pre-K Program for 4 year olds? Any child who is four prior to September first of the year he/she is to be enrolled is eligible to attend.
Who can attend Kindergarten? Any child who is five prior to September first of the year he/she is to be enrolled is eligible to attend. In order to attend first grade, a child must complete a successful year of Kindergarten.
What documentation do I need to bring to registration? We request that you bring the following documents to registration: your child’s birth certificate, up-dated immunization record, well child check-up, and your child’s most recent dental check-up. We will need a certified copy of your child’s birth certificate. A certified birth certificate is one that is obtained from the state registrar or vital statistics office in the state where the child was born. Also, at this event your child will participate in screenings, such as, developmental screenings (DIAL-4), speech/language, hearing, and vision. These screenings ensure that every child receives the best possible chance to be healthy and ready to learn. If your child is Head Start eligible, please bring proof of income to registration.
Will there be other registrations? We will schedule other registrations at different locations (Big Otter, Clay, and H. E. White).
