It’s that time of year again! For the past five years, the Buffalo Creek Watershed has stocked Buffalo Creek between Swandale and Crestmont with plentiful rainbow trout for anglers from far and wide to enjoy, and this year is no exception. The annual trout stocking for Buffalo Creek is planned for this week and is certain to bring line casters young and old alike to the area.
Over the past few years, the Watershed has conducted four liming projects to improve the habitat of the creek, making it possible for the fish to safely inhabit the area. The efforts of the group have ensured that fisherman for years to come will enjoy travelling to Clay County for the chance to hook the catch of a lifetime.
