Ivydale, WV – Florence Fern Rose, 84, of Ivydale, entered into rest Tuesday, November 4, 2014.
Born December 29, 1929 in Camden on Gauley, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Florence (Walker) Morris. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her son Richard Metheney.
She was a retired school teacher and counselor.
Florence is survived by her husband, Paul Rose of Ivydale, sons, Ernest “Buck” Metheney of Ivydale, Larry Bruce Metheney of Coshocton OH., daughter, Brenda Samples of Clendenin, 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, brother, William “Bud” Morris of Slippery Rock, PA., sisters, June Moyer of Bay Town, TX., Joan Lindsey of Huston, TX and her special care givers Virginia Thomas and Mary Lou Morris.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.
