After a long road trip, the Lady Panthers made it back home again this past week. They hosted the Lady Red Devils of Calhoun and the Lady Eagles of Braxton County. The Lady Red Devils went down hard against the lady Panthers in the first set, and it was quick work of the Lady Eagles in their second match. The Lady Panthers return home proved there would be no holding back and they would be tough to beat on their home turf. To top the evening off, Gracen Samples was awarded a plaque for attaining 1000 kills in her career. This award is given to only a select few who take their skill to the next level. Gracen Samples has proven herself in games when faced with the challenge to win and never backed down. Congratulations to Gracen on receiving the award and to the team on a great year so far. Hoover came into town later in the week, and the Lady Panthers once again came through against a tough team and defeated the Lady Huskies. Also to fall to the Lady Panthers was Charleston Catholic. They then went on to Buffalo for a tournament and brought home the championship trophy. Congratulations to the Lady Panthers. The Ladies will be at home this week as well; come out and enjoy history in the making.
