Danny NottinghamDalton, OH – Danny “Barney” Nottingham, 53, of Dalton, OH, passed away suddenly on August 24, 2014.

Born September 3, 1960 in Clay, he was the son of the late Carl Nottingham and mother Shirley (Mullins) and step father Edward Brown. In addition to his father he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Sherman and Pearl Mullins and Claude and Ethel Nottingham.

He was employed by Most Paving for 38 years, was a member of the Fredericksburg American Legion Post #651 and graduated from Orrville High School class of 1978.

Danny loved the outdoors activities, hunting, camping and trips to West Virginia. He was a devoted grandpa.

In addition to his mother and step-father Danny is survived by his daughter, Lindy Nottingham, grandsons, Benjamin and Braxton, siblings David (Michelle) Nottingham, Jimmy Nottingham and Jeanne Nottingham, girlfriend Jackie Snyder, many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service were held 1:00 P.M. Friday, August 29, 2014 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay. Burial was in the Sunset Cemetery, Bickmore.

Friends called from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. A celebration of life will be held 3:00 P.M. Tuesday September 7, 2014 at the Fredericksburg American Legion Post #651.
