Lizemore, WV – Mary “P-Nut” Delphia Duffield, 66, of Lizemore, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 26, 2014, at Saint Francis Hospital in Charleston following a short illness.
P-Nut was the daughter of the late Delbert and Mary H. (Swain) Elswick. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Duffield; brother, John Elswick; and sister, Delorice “LuLu” Elswick.
P-Nut is survived by her son, Daniel Duffield and wife Denise, of Lizemore; daughter, Virginia Ackermann and husband Mark, of Wheeling; brother, Alvin “Ace” Elswick and wife Nancy, of Belva, WV; sisters, Nan Boyd and husband Richard, of Ravenswood, June Owens and husband Gary, of Millwood; grandchildren, Joshua Duffield, Karley Duffield, Tristan Duffield, and Edward Ackermann.
P-Nut’s funeral service was 1 pm Thursday, August 28, 2014, at Matics Funeral Home in Clendenin with Pastor Naaman Moore officiating. Burial was at the King-Fields Cemetery in Glen.
