The power went off in the town of Clay and the surrounding areas around 10:30am Sunday morning. A tree ripped through the power lines and took the top off a newly placed power pole. The road outside of Pierson Lumber toward Hartland was shut down for a few hours as power crews work to fix the outage. The power outage lasted until around 1:30pm.
