Registration is still open for the 2026 Statewide Back-to-School Event for Students with Disabilities!
Everyone is welcome to attend this FREE event! Registration is only required for students with disabilities (Pre-K through 12th grade) who would like to receive:
🎒 A backpack filled with school supplies
🛍️ A $25 gift card for school supplies
⛽ A $25 gas stipend (thanks to the generous support of The Benedum Foundation)
A child does not need a confirmed diagnosis, an IEP, or a 504 Plan to qualify. If you have concerns about your child’s learning, speech, behavior, hearing, vision, physical abilities, developmental delays, or other disabilities, we encourage you to register.
The event will feature exhibitors from across West Virginia offering valuable resources, information, and services for individuals with disabilities and their families. Come meet organizations, ask questions, and discover programs that can help your family succeed.
🎉 Remember: The event is open to everyone. Registration is only for students with disabilities who would like to receive the backpack, gift card, and gas stipend.
