Harvest time is upon us and fresh fruit and vegetables are plenty. Johnny Lane of Bickmore can be seen almost daily offering homegrown tomatoes, corn, watermelons and cantaloupes for purchase. If you didn’t plant your own garden this year, stop by one of the many roadside vendors or Saturday’s Farmer’s Market to sample and buy some of the best homegrown produce Clay County has to offer.
