Two teams from Clay Royalty Cheer Athletics (CRCA) — Lady Reign and Lady Luxe — are headed to Orlando, Florida to compete at the Prep & Rec Grand Nationals at Universal Studios. What makes this accomplishment even more impressive is that this is only CRCA’s second season in operation.
In just two short years, CRCA has grown from a small local program into a competitive force, now preparing to represent Clay County at one of the largest youth cheerleading events in the country. The Prep & Rec Grand Nationals brings together teams from across the United States to compete inside Universal Orlando Resort in a high-energy, nationally recognized championship event.
Lady Reign and Lady Luxe have worked tirelessly this season, dedicating countless hours to strength training, tumbling development, conditioning, and routine refinement. Over the past year, CRCA has invested heavily in athlete development — including upgrading equipment and expanding tumbling training — to ensure their athletes are building skills that can stand up on a national stage.
This opportunity means everything to these athletes. For many of them, this will be their first time competing at a national-level event, and to do it in Orlando at Universal makes it even more special. They’ve earned this.”
The teams will compete in the Prep and Rec divisions, showcasing not only their athletic ability but also the discipline, teamwork, and perseverance they’ve developed throughout the season. Competing at this level requires meeting strict division requirements, skill progressions, and performance standards — something CRCA athletes have proven they are ready for.
What started as a dream to build a competitive cheer program in Clay County has quickly turned into a growing program that now serves over 100 athletes across cheer and tumbling. In just its second season, sending two teams to nationals marks a major milestone for the gym and the community it represents.
As Lady Reign and Lady Luxe prepare to take the mat in Orlando, they carry with them the pride of their families, coaches, and the entire Clay County community.
Clay Royalty Cheer Athletics continues to prove that big dreams can grow from small towns — and this is only the beginning.
