Stacy Marks named Teacher of the Year, Big Otter receives Superintendent’s Cup

Mrs. Marks, Teacher of the Year, and Mr. Boggs, Principal at Big Otter Elementary School.

Big Otter Elementary School’s Preschool teacher, Mrs. Stacy Marks, was recognized as the 2025 Clay County Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Marks has a warm personality and genuinely cares about each of her students.  She helps set the foundation students need for a successful education.  Congratulations, Mrs. Marks!

For the third year in a row, Big Otter Elementary School received the Superintendent’s Cup.  This award is given to the top school based on attendance, academics, family engagement, and discipline.  Big Otter Elementary is proud to help all students succeed.  It›s a great day to be a Big Otter Brave!
