A Birch River man was arrested on Tuesday, charged with murdering another Birch River man. Kristopher James Love, 28, has been charged with the first-degree murder of James Lewis Frame age 39. Nicholas County deputies say Love and Frame were involved in a fight at a residence in Birch River around midnight Tuesday. When deputies responded to the scene, they found Frame lying on the ground unresponsive. Frame was transported to Summersville Regional Medical Center where he later died of his injuries. Love fled the scene and evaded arrest for nearly twelve hours before being apprehended in the Birch River area. Two other individuals, Michelle Stull, 30 of Summersville and Michael Shane Wood, 24 of Birch River were also arrested and charged with one felony count each of accessory to murder after the fact. The murder investigation is ongoing and further arrests are pending.
