Clay County Development Corporation recently acquired an additional converted van via the WV Department of Public Transit for use in transports for the Clay and surrounding areas. The new van will be utilized in the current bus run schedule. In addition to the current daily bus schedule, the new van will serve as a means of public transportation for Clay and the surrounding counties for Non-Emergency Transports.

West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources recently announced the award of the state’s Non-Emergency Medical Transport (NEMT) contract to Medical Transportation Management (MTM). The NEMT broker will provide a central point of management of travel instead of the current system through each DHHR county office. MTM will be responsible for full administration of the program including customer services, provider enrollment, verification of safety requirements, utilization review, and monitoring for fraud and abuse.

To inquire about the bus schedule or public transportation via Clay County Development Corporation please contact Daniel at (304) 587-2468.
