Each January, the WV Trophy Hunters Association presents the WV Hunting & Fishing Show at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center in Charleston, WV. All proceeds from the show are donated to programs that promote or protect hunting, fishing, wildlife, conservation, and related educational activities. From 1995 through 2024 their donations to these causes exceeded $1,550,000. While raising funds is important, the primary reason for hosting this show is to bring hunters and fishermen into contact with organizations that can provide them with goods and services related to these activities. All WV Trophy Hunter Association members are 100% volunteers.
This year the event is scheduled for January 24-26, 2025.
Scheduled to participate are about 175 exhibitors. Seminars on the WV DNR stage include Hunting in the Wind, K9 Training, Fishing Ethics, Three Rivers Avian Center, Big Buck Contents Winners, Whitetail Tactics, Coyote Hunting, Boater Safety, Trout Stocking, and more.
The Whitetail Hall of Fame is back. WV DNR will be scoring your harvested buck.
A wildlife charity auction is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 25th from the Grand Hall in the Charleston Convention Center.
