This past week, Big Otter Elementary celebrated Drug Prevention Week and Halloween! During the week, students learned about saying NO to drugs and bullying! Teachers participated in a bulletin board decorating contest and everybody enjoyed special spirit days. These days included Friend Day, Pajama Day, Wacky Day, When I Grow Up Day, and Halloween Costume Day. On Thursday, all students enjoyed a Candy War and Costume Parade outside. Parents were able to help their children disguise a pumpkin as a STEM activity.
Thank you to Jerry Linkinogger and Board of Education Members Mike Mullins, Phoebe Nichols, Lolita Nutter, and Aaron Williams for judging the pumpkins! Thank you to the PTO for all your support and help making Red Ribbon Week and Halloween activities a huge success!!
