The city of Summerville is in astonishment after a grisly discovery. Two badly decomposed bodies were found in the “Stor-All” facility off Old U.S. Route 19 after the owner found what he believed to be human remains. Sgt. Lilly of the WVSP spoke with The Free Press Friday. “The owner called us after finding the door unsecure. He raised the entry and found what appeared to be an animal or possibly a human leg. Once a warrant was obtained and information on the owners, the premises was searched. The bodies were in plain view and badly decomposed” Stated Lilly.
Alabama authorities were in West Virginia for a period in July to question Wanda Kiser. She was charged with 17 counts of forgery for purportedly cashing checks belonging to 105-year-old Mary Cobb and 84-year-old Wynona Delvecchio of Jasper, who were reported missing in 2003. Soon after this discovery, warrants were issued for Kiser but upon serving, Troopers were informed that she had consumed an unknown amount of medication. Kiser was hospitalized and will be arrested upon release.
Kiser will be charged with two counts of illegally disposing of a dead body. WVSP is anxious to confirm the identity and establish the cause of death of the bodies found. “One definitely looked to be a woman, the other was unidentifiable” said Lilly. “We will be investigating West Virginia’s jurisdiction in the matter and if the crimes happened here, we will be ready to prosecute when the time comes.”
