A man shipwrecked on a deserted island was a Christian and had daily studied his Holy Bible but it went down with his cabin cruiser. Yet, from memory he quoted the scriptures he recalled.
After months of being alone just him and God he said out loud I wish I had my Holy Bible. Lord, I am so sorry that I lost it. Three days later he looked out across the waters and there on the ocean was a beautiful small jeweled encrusted treasure chest. As he stepped into the water he noticed the dorsal fins of sharks circling the chest. He quoted the scripture Psalm 37:4 Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. He then bowed to his knees on the sand and asked the Lord to give him that chest. Immediately the sharks swam out to sea and he swam out and retrieved the box. He then sat on the shore simply admiring such an unusual chest. Finally, he opened the chest and the inside was dry and there laid a Holy Bible. He was utterly amazed. He waited until his hands dried before touching it. Later as he opened the King James Version and he saw his own name in as it was written when presented by his church years ago.
The natural man inside him began to question then suddenly the spiritual side of him began to realize the supernatural side of God. Gently he placed it back in the chest, built a huge fire, then danced around it praising and thanking God not only for the Holy Bible but for the box to keep it in, and for God reminding the man that He is truly watching over him.
Psalm 37:5 Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
