Afterschool Attendance Awards Winners announced

40Each year Clay County Schools recognizes students with the highest attendance at each of its afterschool programs.  Research conducted by the U.S. Department of Education shows that students who attend afterschool programming 90 or more hours reap the most benefits.  Please join CCS in celebrating the students pictured below and their schools.  Each student received a certificate of recognition and a $50 VISA gift card.

Big Otter Elementary second grader Cattie Boggs celebrates 210.28 hours, alongside Program Director Dr. Michelle Samples and Principal Anthony Boggs.
Joining Clay Elementary fifth grader Olivia Keiffer, who attended 163.25 hours, are Principal Michelle Paxton, Afterschool Site Coordinator Pam Woods, and Program Director Dr. Michelle Samples. 
H.E. White Elementary fifth grader Emma Belt attended 178 hours and celebrates her reward with Program Director Dr. Michelle Samples, Principal Tammy Varney, and Afterschool Site Coordinator Tina Hall.
Lizemore Elementary third grader Vance Lynch attended afterschool 201.50 hours and Principal Britni Ramsey and Afterschool Site Coordinator Julia Triplett take pride in his accomplishment.
Clay County Middle School seventh grade student Abigail Grandon won top honors by attending 182.25 hours.  Afterschool Site Coordinator Michelle Hamrick and Assistant Principal Barry Payton help celebrate her success.
Eian Duffield, a junior at Clay County High School, attended afterschool programming 183.50 hours.  Afterschool Site Coordinator Luella Dancy and CTE Director Bob Morris join him to celebrate his reward.
