The Panthers were on the road in Webster County trying to take care of a drought. The Panthers have been in a slump the last couple of weeks, and a win seems hard to come by. Webster County was going to be redemption night for the Panthers. They came out like a team possessed and played with very few mistakes. However, the Highlanders proved to be too hot on the net, and the Panthers lost the game 54-83.
Meadow Bridge was up next on the home court, and the Panthers needed to get back in the winning column. Meadow Bridge came out swinging and so did the Panthers, but both teams were having a hard time scoring as they both stood at 17 at the half. After the halftime show, the Panthers came out looking like the Celtics as they were burning up the net hitting for 37 points in the second half to win the game 54-43. Top shot in the game was Trenton Gibson with 18 points followed closely by Micah Osborne with 17. The Panthers will have a two game home stretch as they take on Roane and Midland Trail this week on Tuesday and Thursday. Go Panthers!
