Rebecca “Becky” Rose Koch

On January 31, 2023, Rebecca “Becky” Rose Koch, 54, of Buckhannon, WV went home to be with the Lord after a long illness.

Becky was a graduate of Clay County High School and was born on February 9, 1968.

She was preceded in death by her father, Curtis H Koch Sr.; grandparents, Bill and Rose Edwards, and John and Ida Koch; sisters, Regina Ruth Koch, Shirley Ann Case, and Judy Diane Hall; and brother, Fredrick Eugene “Gene” Koch.

Rebecca is survived by her mother, Wanita Ruth “Edwards” Koch of Maysel; sisters, Addie Palecek of Maysel, Joan (Kenneth) Rose of Maysel, Betty Greenawald of Spencer; brother, Curtis (Jennifer) Koch Jr. of Maysel; good friend Darlene Reger of Buckhannon; and many nieces and nephews.

Rebecca was employed for 30 plus years at Tudors Biscuit World/Gino’s, and moved from a pizza maker to a supervisor of several locations.

Rebecca will be missed by her family, her Tudors/Gino’s friends, and many other friends she made over the years.

 A funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2023, with visitation from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Wilson Smith Funeral Home, Clay with Minister Justin Neal officiating. Burial followed in the Blue Knob Community Church cemetery on Blue Knob Road, Maysel, WV.
