Bonnie June Taylor, 76, of Elkhurst, West Virginia, gained her heavenly wings in the early morning hours of Sunday, December 26, 2021 after a brief battle with stage four lung cancer.
Born on January 6, 1945 to the Late Robert and Ruth (Ramsey) Schoolcraft in Clay, Bonnie was a caretaker in every sense of the word. She loved unconditionally and accepted without judgment. She welcomed anyone to her table. She always had a smile on her face, even in the darkest of times and a hug that warmed your soul. Bonnie always looked out for others, especially those in need. If you needed anything, she probably had it in her building, and if not, she knew how or where to get it.
The love for her soulmate was so strong that in the end it only took 19 days for them to be apart on this earth.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her soulmate of 55 years, Earl “Perk” Taylor; parents Robert and Ruth (Ramsey) Schoolcraft;and sisters Letha May (Willard) Jones, Emma (George) Gould, Phillys (Jimmy) Taylor, and Joyce Haas. She is survived by her children Nina (boyfriend Mike) Wilson of Sissonville WV, Jack Taylor of Elkhurst WV, Charles (Chrystal) Taylor of Ivydale, Robert (Leilani) Taylor of Maysel, Loretta (boyfriend John) Garnett of Versailles, IN; a special daughter, Debora Gould of Bomont; grandchildren Cassie, Adam, Felicia, Andy, Sherri, Kristie, Shelby, Ben, Lillian, Amellia and Madelin; great-grandchildren Aaron, Eathan, Caden, Tyler, Emerson, Maverick, Coleton and Danny; and great-great grandson Jack Cunningham.
Bonnie will be missed dearly on this earth but is truly at peace in her place in heaven with her eternal companion
