Officials with the WV Trophy Hunters Association announced a major partnership with Cabela’s during a press conference on Nov. 17 in the lobby of the Cabela’ store in the Southridge Shopping Center in South Charleston, WV.

Each January, the WV Trophy Hunters Association, a 5013c nonprofit organization, presents the WV Hunting & Fishing Show at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center in Charleston, WV. All proceeds from the show are donated to programs that promote or protect hunting, fishing, wildlife, conservation, and related educational activities. From 1995 through 2022their donations to these causes exceeded $1,350,000.  While raising funds is important, the primary reason for hosting this show is to bring hunters and fishermen into contact with organizations that can provide them with goods and services related to these activities. All WV Trophy Hunter Association members are 100% volunteers.

This year the event is scheduled for January 20-22, 2023. Show hours are: Friday, noon to 9:00 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Admission: Adults- $9, Children 6-12- $1, under 6 free.
