The Mustang JV boys team took down Geary in dominating fashion grabbing rebounds, smoking the boards and knocking down 38 points to Geary’s 23. The Mustang varsity team had a different game; the boys were fired up enough but just couldn’t overcome the mistakes toward the end of the game. Geary had some really good players with one being at least 6’ 3” tall, and the Mustangs had a difficult time of shooting inside the paint because of his blocking advantage. However, it did not deter the heart and desire of the Mustangs who played a whale of a game just couldn’t get the buckets.
