Rev. Dannie Duane Taylor, 68, of Clay, went home to be with the lord and savior on July 28, 2020. He was the son of the late Duane and Wanda Price Taylor. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Dale and David Taylor, and his mother in law Margaret Acree.
Dannie was a retired coal miner, and he served as pastor to many churches in the area. He was a member of the Stump Chapel Baptist Church, where he was also Pastor.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary Beth Acree Taylor; sons Duane (Shelley) and Nathan of Clay; granddaughters Brooklyn and Addison who he cherished very much; brother Dean (Tammy); sister Drema Walker and Diane Taylor; father in law Norval Acree; brother and sister in law Rusty and Janette Acree, Gray, and Darius and Pam Acree Holcomb; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
A graveside service was held on July 31, 2020 at11 A.M. in the Acree Family Cemetery, Enoch WV, with Lynn Schieffer officiating.
