It was that time again for trick-or-treaters, Halloween parties, and spooky fun this past week across the country.
Children dressed up in their favorite costumes and enjoyed all the area had to offer in festive fun. The town of Clay had trick-or-treat on October 26 and many schools had carnivals, parties, and celebrations for them to enjoy.
On November 2, H.E. White held their annual fall carnival. With the storms that rolled through late in the week that knocked out power, preparations for this event were on hold until the power was restored. With the lights not turning on until late Friday night, PTO members and parents spent their night tirelessly turning classrooms and the gym into a party area for the kids.
Each classroom was set up with different games and activities. Kids could enjoy hayrides, games, treats, cake walks, and compete for a chance to win king/queen titles. Everyone in attendance enjoyed all the carnival had to offer and the PTO and volunteers knocked it out of the park again this year and made it a huge success.
