The Clay County Board of Education met Monday, December 2 at the administrative office in Clay. The meeting was brief and began with the approval of the agenda, the minutes from the previous meeting and the payment of bills. A financial update was given by Kevin Isaacs, the business manager and treasurer.
Michael Cliver was voluntarily removed from the list of substitute bus drivers.
Discussions by the group included a handyman position, custodian applications and the lease to the VFW for the property located at the end of the parking lot at Bradley Field beside the bus garage.
The meeting adjourned with the next meeting scheduled on December 16, 2013.
