If you win at bingo, you win a prize. If you are in a fishing contest and you catch the biggest fish, you win a prize. If you bake the best pie at the Apple Festival, you win a prize. That’s just the way it goes.
Did you know you are a prize? No matter which way you go, you are a prize. God wants you to come and go with Him to Heaven where you will have eternal life with Him. If you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, God accepts you as His child and you are the prize. If and when you accept Him, He has promised He will never leave nor forsake you. He will watch over you and care for you because you are the prize.
There is a conflict going on of which you are the prize or the reward. You are created in the image of God and Satan hates you. He will do all he can to destroy you. He will try to deceive you, strike fear in your heart, destroy you or even kill you. Still, if you do not accept Jesus as your Savior, you become Satan prize and will spend eternity with him in hell. You are a spirit and will never die. The consequences are eternal. Heaven or Hell. It is your choice. God has made you a free moral agent and He will honor which way you decide to spend eternity.
Millions put it off and say “I’ll decide later.” Not so. You just made a decision to reject Jesus and if that doesn’t change, Hell awaits your entry. Grave yards are full of those who wished they had one more day. However, it was one day too late and they will suffer the consequences.
Some believe that God will send no one to Hell because He is love. That is true. God won’t send you to Hell. It is YOUR choice, not His. He sent His Son Jesus to die on the Cross so you wouldn’t have to suffer the penalty of sin. It was an awful death but it happened for YOU. If you reject Jesus, YOU send YOU to Hell, not God. God has made a way to escape Hell, but God will honor your decision. No one can make that decision for you. The power of that decision is in YOUR hand. Choose wisely, the consequences are eternal. Hell is many, many times worse than you can imagine. Heaven is many, many more times wonderful that you can perceive. Jesus paid the price for my sin and I asked Him into my heart and I am going to Heaven and I hope to see you there.
