Salvation is the most wonderful gift a person can receive.
It is an unearned, undeserved gift from almighty God. The blessings or potential of salvation is beyond comprehension. Salvation begins by wiping away every sin that you may have committed along life’s way. That demonstrates the love God has for you. Salvation lifts you out of the world’s system and opens the door to the Kingdom of God for you.
Although Salvation is free and cannot be earned it is a lifetime in developing. Some of the blessings of Salvation are acquired by faith but God has already given each of us the measure of faith. Salvation comes by only one means and that is through accepting the sacrifice Jesus Christ made on Calvary’s cross. There is no other way. Whey you, by faith, accept that Jesus died on the Cross, gave His blood for you and even though He died there, on the third day He arose from the dead and lives today.
Many of the blessings of Salvation comes through knowledge. When you get saved; Satan loses power over you. You still may have to overcome the temptation but Satan has no more power to ruin your life. He will still try to cause you to live in doubt, fear or compromise but your response is up to you.
Many believe that Salvation is a ticket to Heaven and no more. Wrong! Certainly Heaven is included in Salvation but there is so much more to be gained. Salvation is a way of life. To every believer Jesus has left for us His peace and joy. Healing is included in Salvation. Jesus gives you purpose in life and you have a relationship with God. Fellowship is also part of the blessings of the Lord.
God always hears the cry of the righteous and when you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, God always hears your prayer. There are hundreds of promises in the Bible for the believer and by prayer, faith and obedience to God’s Word you can have them. Satan will do his best to keep you from receiving what God has for you and you may have to fight the good fight of faith and stand on the promise unwavering until you receive.
To be a child of God is a covenant relationship with God and God always watches over His Word to make sure it does not return to Him void. He never fails, we do. Let His love change your life. Jesus is the way to eternal life and fullness of life for us here, day by day. Find out for yourself in God’s Word, the Bible.
