The Three Rivers Avian Center recently came to Big Otter Elementary School to present their “Wings of Wonder – West Virginia Birds of Prey” presentation.

Students were able to see many types of amazing birds including a Bald Eagle, Great Horned Owl, Red Tailed Hawk, Screech Owl, Peregrine Falcon, and an American Kestral. Students enjoyed not only seeing these beautiful birds up close, but they also learned many interesting facts about each bird as well as ways to help protect the habitat these birds live in.
