Ida Belle Arthur, 96, of Gauley Bridge, entered into rest Saturday, February 16, 2019.

Born August 28, 1922, in Fayette County, she was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Georgia (Hayes) Clark.  In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Arthur; and daughter, Kathy Krokowski.

Ida is survived by her daughter, Trudy Waugh of Gauley Bridge; four grandchildren, Jason Workman, Mikell Workman, Kelley Arnold and Steven Krokowski; one great-granddaughter, Annie; brother, Roy “Dale” Clark of Armstrong Creek; sister, Sue Bulmer of Fairborn, OH; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Frank Bainbridge, Reba Carson and Ruth Neal.

A celebration of life was led by Ray Londeree at on Friday, February 22, at Gauley Bridge Baptist Church, Gauley Bridge.  Burial followed in Montgomery Memorial Park, London.

Friends gathered with family one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers family requests donations be made to Recovery Point of Huntington in care of Trudy Waugh.
