Dad,
How can we possibly thank you enough, the one who made us whole. The one to whom we owe a thanks for our life, the forming of our soul. The one who tucked us in at night, the one who stopped and dried our tears. The one who made such sacrifices, to always put us first, who let us test our wings despite the consequences. The one who helped us see past our disappointments to new possibilities. What way is there to thank you for your sweet heart and the ten thousand little things you did for us over the years for changing with us as we changed. Accepting all our flaws, not loving because you had to, but loving “just because” that’s who you were. For always being proud of our accomplishments, and for being the most reliable friend. And so we’ve come to realize, the only one way to say, the only thank you that’s enough, it’s clear. Look at us, and see what we’ve become, we hope you see yourself in us. The job you have done, your strengths and love transferred over the many years. Your best was transferred to us as you gave your all. Thank you for the gifts you gave, for everything you did. Now rest Daddy for your job here is complete, we know now what to do. Until that wonderful day will come again, we shall meet. We love you Daddy.
