CCHS Lady Panthers ready for 2018

The Lady Panthers are gearing up for the 2018 volleyball season.

They have been under the gun in  practice and are looking like a team that wants a little revenge for last season.  Last year, the girls came up just short in the season ending tournaments, but this season looks different.  They will have some cannons on the line coming from Sophomore Alisea McMillon and Senior Courtney Bevins; these ladies will definitely  scatter some grape shot.

This season’s team will have more heavy hitters in the field, and Lady Panthers that can climb ice with tooth picks and dig like gophers. It will be all out volleyball, and any team that plays them will have to bring more than an average game to the courts because the focus will be on winning and becoming State Champions.  Any tournament they go to, they will have a target on their backs and will be the ones to beat.

This will be a good season, I believe, for both the CCHS Lady Panthers and the CCMS Lady Mustangs. They have conditioned through the summer and are working hard on perfecting their skills.  The Lady Panthers will be in a scrimmage against the Lady Grizzlies of Nicholas on August 28 to start the new season. No doubt it will be a barn burner.  So, get out and support the teams.
