Last Friday morning, at approximately 6:30 a.m., Clay Volunteer Fire Department Station 20 was toned for a structure fire on Camp Creek Road in Procious. Shortly after, Lizemore Volunteer Fire Department Station 40 and Big Otter Volunteer Fire Department Station 30 were toned for mutual aid. CVFD arrived on scene and observed there was heavy smoke showing, but no flames seen. CVFD and LVFD entered the structure to begin extinguishing the fire. BOVFD and Clendenin were toned for assistance as well, but were canceled. The fire was fully extinguished and crews were able to clear the scene.
