Mary Reed Ward, 92, of Clay, entered into rest Saturday, June 16, 2018.
Born October 10, 1925, in Charleston, she was the daughter of the late Edward Ray and Lulu (Wilson) Reed. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lemoyne Ward and brother and sister-in-law James and Helen Reed.
Mary is survived by her nephew, Charles (Danielle) Reed and their daughter Julianne; great-nephews, James Reed Jr., Andrew Reed, Eric Reed and Austin Reed, and Brian Reed; great nieces, Erin Gallagher, Sarah Johnson and Jennifer Reed.
A funeral service was held Wednesday, June 20, at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Minters Wilma and Don Dobbins officiating. Burial followed in Reed Cemetery, Clay.
