Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us. Ephesians 3:20. You are created in the image of God, and God does not quit.

In the Garden of Gethsemane, knowing the agony before him Jesus said, not what I will but what you will, Jesus went to the cross suffered shame, dies with thieves and was buried in a borrowed grave. But he did not quit. He arose from the grave and now sits at the right had of God. Don’t quit- you’ll soon be with Him too. When we pray to god we pray unto Him that is able. Let us give glory unto Him that is able! Let us each thank Him for being so faithful. He is able to provide food to the hungry, drink to the thirsty, protection and shelter form the storm. He is able to provide for us not a house but a home! He is able to give us good health or to heal us when the health is not good. Our God is able to heal our body, mind, and soul as well as cancer, depression and sin! God is so good and he is able to give us our heart’s desires just remember, that when we serve Him and see His will, those desires change! He gives the strength, wisdom, boldness, compassion, mercy and grace that we each need every day. Thank God for being patient and loving us when we are not so loveable. The God who is and the God who will always be God.

As we face life’s difficulties we need to know that God who is able. When cancer comes, He is Jehovah-rapha the healer. When worry consumes us, He is Jehovah-shalom, the peacemaker. When Satan attacks with false accusation, he is Jehovah-Nissi, the spiritual warrior. When the lion roared against David, God who was able protected. When the bear came to devour David the God who was able shielded him. When Goliath laughed at the young boy, David and his stones, God gave him power. Whatever trials we face God who is able will help us.
