The Lizemore Volunteer Fire Department visited Lizemore Elementary School and H.E. White Elementary School to provide information to the students for Fire Prevention Month.
The students gathered in the gym to listen to the firefighters and to learn about how to prevent fires, what to do if they would be involved in a fire, learn to stop drop a roll, etc. Students got to see and learn about the tools and equipment that firefighter’s use and what their purpose is. They also go to play games with the firemen and see who could roll a water hose up the quickest and who could put fire gear on quickest. The students enjoyed learning and getting to explore the fire trucks as well. Thank you Lizemore Volunteer Fire Department!
