The 2017 West Virginia State Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Tournament will take place on August 19 at Magic Island in Charleston as part of the annual West Virginia Games.

Elk River Boxing & MMA have several members competing in the tournament including head Coach Rob Fletcher. Within the past year, Elk River Boxing & MMA has become part of the George Oiler Jiu Jitsu Network, and also became members of the very respected Team SAS. Coach Fletcher says they are looking forward to some tough competition and hope to bring the good back to Elk River
