On May 16, the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia issued an order which suspended Clay attorney Barbara Harmon-Schamberger’s license to practice law in the State of West Virginia for three months.
Upon automatic reinstatement respondent is to have supervised practice for two years. The court also ordered that Harmon-Schamberger shall complete and additional six hours of CLE in the area of ethics and law office management.
Prior to respondent being reinstated, she is ordered to reimburse the Office of Disciplinary Counsel for the costs of the proceedings and the immediately refund the retainer fee of $1,000.00 to Donnie Sears.
