Clay County High School Class of 1963 Hold Reunion

The Clay County High School Class of 1963 held its fifty-year reunion on June 29, 2013 at Carol’s Restaurant at Maysel. Approximately 88 people attended the catered lunch, with 46 of those being classmates. The delicious lunch was followed, later in the evening, by a picnic at Jim and Jeannie (O’Dell) Perdue’s farm in Ovapa. The classmates took up a collection and the money was given to the CCHS band for uniforms and a “memorial brick” was purchased from the band in memory of our 31 deceased classmates who will never be forgotten. We ha d a wonderful, memorable time!
