Early Tuesday morning, October 8th around 3:15 a.m. two unknown men entered the Clay Go-Mart demanding money and cigarettes. Go-Mart management and employees were directed to decline commenting on the situation by corporate. However, it is speculated that one robber was pointing a concealed pistol in a jacket pocket. The weapon was never fully visible. As they fled, cigarettes littered the parking lot and loot was lost. The thieves heist totaled around $200 in cash and cigarettes. West Virginia State Police are following possible leads. Anyone with information may place an anonymous tip by phone at (304) 286-3185.
