Brenda Faye (VanMeter) Romeo

Dixie  — Brenda Faye (VanMeter) Romeo, 70, of Dixie passed away Friday, March 31, 2017.

Born May 3, 1946, in Bentree, she was the daughter of the late Pete and Helen (Morris) VanMeter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Earl Romeo; daughters, Nikki and Michelle Romeo; and sister, Dee Stover.

Brenda is survived by her daughter, Carla VanMeter of Charleston; brothers, Kenney VanMeter of Belva, Kelvin VanMeter of Lizemores and Keith VanMeter of Dixie; sister, Cindy VanMeter of Charleston; and sister-in-law, Cindy Toney of Glen Ferris.

Funeral service was held at 12:30 p.m., Monday, April 3, 2017, at Montgomery Memorial Park, Mausoleum Chapel, London, with minister Billy Morris officiating.

Friends gathered with family from 12-12:30 p.m. at the Mausoleum.
