Swiss — Mary M. (Thomas) Auxier, 94, of Swiss passed away, Feb. 16, 2017.

Born September 17, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Hazel Thomas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Benson Auxier.

She is survived by her son, Frank and wife, Sandy, Auxier of Swiss; granddaughter, Angela and husband, Buddy, of Swiss; grandson, Ben and wife ,Lisa Auxier; two great-grandsons Cameron and Ethan Auxier, all of Lawrenceburg, KY. She is also survived by countless nieces, nephews and friends.

Services were held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 20, 2017, at Pennington Funeral Home, Gauley Bridge, With Bro. Lee Evan of Craigsville officiating. Burial followed in the Montgomery Memorial Park, London.

Friends gathered with the family one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
