On Tuesday evening around 3:30 in Bickmore, WV, a vehicle accident resulted with a fatality.
Nine-year-old Kadie Truman of Indore, WV, passed away from injuries at the scene of the accident. Her grandmother, Connie Brown, was life flighted to Charleston Area Medical Center where she later passed from injuries sustained during the accident. Sister Maddie Truman was also in the accident, but she is recovering.
Residents in the community are deeply saddened by this tragic accident. There will be a benefit dinner for the funeral expenses on Wednesday, Jan. 4, from 11 am.-5 p.m. at the Clay Lions Club. Menu will be: brown beans and cornbread dinner; two hot dogs and your choice of one side or one barbecue and your choice of one side. Sides are macaroni salad and potato salad. There will be drinks and desserts available.
