Mustangs destroy Walton

It was a hurricane against a cardboard box last Tuesday night when the Mustangs took on the Walton Tigers.
When the Mustangs came on the field it looked as though it would be a game similar to giving a dictionary to a field mouse — what’s the use? Taking nothing away from the Tigers, they came, did what they could and gave 100 percent to the game and provided the Mustangs a chew toy for the night.
The Mustang offense scored seemingly at will with little resistance. The Tigers managed some good offense at times and scored once to put a feather in their cap. With the score at 30-0, the CCMS coaching staff had a little mercy and put the second string team in to get some playing time.
When the game was over the Mustangs racked up 52 points on the board, while the Walton Tigers put up 6 points. Next week the Mustangs will go up against the Spencer Yellow Jackets.  This game will definitely be a test for the Mustangs as it always is. A win against the Yellow Jackets will give the Mustangs a shoe in for the CWVAC championship game.
Go Mustangs!

There was nowhere to go against the Mustangs.
