Gassaway — Arbutus Lambert, 87, of Gassaway, passed away September 30, 2016, at Clay Health Care Center, Big Otter.
She was born May 4, 1929, in Clay County, a daughter of the late Jessee and Mabel Sanders Ghee.
She was a homemaker and loved her flowers. She was a devoted Christian.
Arbutus was preceded in death by husbands, Luther Jeffrey and Paul Lambert; daughter, Sherrie Wallace; son, Barry Jeffrey; and brother, Edward Ghee.
She is survived by daughter, Tammie Gay and husband, Ralph of Sutton; son, Randy Jeffrey of Gassaway; sister, Merle Jarrett of Clay; grandchildren, Joshua Jeffrey, Laini Hines, Brandy Morris, Bobbie Jeffrey and Shannda Gay; and great-grandchild, Dylan Posey.
Mrs. Lambert was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
