Maysel — Clarence “Sonny” Eugene Runion, 72, of Maysel entered into rest Thursday, September 8, 2016.
Born January 19, 1944, in Mink Shoals, he was the son of the late Robert and Blondie Runion. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Nellie (Cummings) Runion and son, Robert Runion.
Clarence is survived by his companion and caregiver , Dorma Davis; sons, Timothy (Connie) Runion, Rodney Runion, Nelson Davis and John (Alicia) Davis; daughters, Melissa Thompson, Delores (Randy) Bunting and Deborah Davis; fifteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and twelve brothers and sisters.
Graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 11, 2016, at King Cemetery, Blue Knob, with Minister Ralph Davis officiating.
